Lessons Learned
I’ve been raising bettas for a few years now and have learned a few things along the way. I have had flooded floors and a had a few sick fish and over time have learned the best way to proceed or at least what to avoid. So in this area I am going to share with you my mistakes and in the process, hopefully, help you to avoid them. I am just starting this page so give me a bit of time to get it together and feel free to share any of your lessons learned.

Basement Bettas
Our breeding is designed to produce show quality Bettas. Our fish are regularly shipped to shows all over the U. S. and we have consistently placed and won numerous awards. We also hope to have fish for sale for both the serious breeder as well as those just wanting a Beautiful Betta to enjoy around the house. We currently are breeding Metallics, Blue, Green and Turquoise, Black and trying to establish blue and yellow marbles and grizzles. We are hoping to be adding Reds to the breeding program soon.

I have some sorority type metallic females I can get rid of. Will be moving soon and down sizing. How may do you want? Might want to come over to bettasource.com. Do you ship “babies”? I recently purchased several of these from Petco which I think must be 2-3 months old (female, about an inch long). What is your pricing/”baby” female and do you give quantity discounts?
